Komatsu to Debut Dimaag's Industry First Mobile Megawatt Charging System at BAUMA 2025

Dimaag-AI and Komatsu announced today that Dimaag's Mobile Megawatt Charging System (MWCS) will make its global debut at BAUMA 2025, the world's leading trade fair for construction machinery, held April 7–13 in Munich, Germany.

The MWCS is an industry-first solution that brings megawatt-level fast charging directly to the point of operation — eliminating the need for heavy equipment to travel to fixed charging infrastructure. For large excavators, dozers, and haul trucks operating in sprawling construction and mining sites, this translates directly to reduced downtime and higher utilization.

Komatsu, a global leader in construction and mining equipment, selected Dimaag's MWCS as the cornerstone of its electrification strategy for heavy-duty off-road machinery. The system integrates seamlessly with Komatsu's existing fleet management systems and supports scalable charging from 200kW to over 1MW.

"The ability to charge at point of use is a fundamental requirement for electrifying large construction and mining fleets," said Ian Wright, VP of Engineering at Dimaag-AI. "Our MWCS makes this possible at scale, without the infrastructure constraints that have limited EV adoption in heavy industry."

The BAUMA debut marks a major milestone in the broader electrification of off-road heavy equipment, a sector that has historically lagged behind on-road vehicles due to energy density and charging infrastructure challenges.
