Dimaag Unveils Revolutionary Megawatt Charging Systems for Heavy-Duty Electric Vehicles
Dimaag-AI today unveiled its Megawatt Charging System (MWCS) product line — a family of ultra-high-power DC fast chargers engineered specifically for the demands of heavy-duty off-road electric vehicles in construction, mining, and port operations.
The MWCS line scales from 200kW to 6MW of charging power within a compact, site-deployable form factor. Unlike conventional EV charging solutions adapted from passenger vehicle infrastructure, the MWCS is purpose-built for the duty cycles, voltage ranges, and environmental conditions of heavy industry.
The system uses a high-efficiency DC-DC architecture that eliminates the AC conversion stage, reducing losses and enabling higher power density than conventional chargers. The modular design allows multiple MWCS units to be combined for higher-power applications, or deployed individually as mobile assets that follow equipment across a job site.
"Heavy-duty construction and mining equipment operates on fundamentally different duty cycles than passenger vehicles," said Ian Wright, VP of Engineering at Dimaag-AI. "The MWCS is built for that reality — high power, high availability, designed to operate in harsh environments."
The MWCS is the charging backbone of Dimaag's ENCORE ecosystem and is designed to interoperate with third-party EV platforms via standard charging protocols. The product line is available for fleet evaluation programs in 2025, with broad commercial availability planned for 2026.
