Dimaag's Zenius High-Power Battery Modules: Maximizing the Power of Toshiba's SCiB™

Dimaag-AI today announced the Zenius High-Power Battery Module, developed in collaboration with Toshiba and built around Toshiba's SCiB™ (Super Charge ion Battery) Lithium Titanium Oxide (LTO) cells.

The Zenius module is engineered for applications that demand extreme charge and discharge rates — rated for 10C continuous operation in both directions. At 10C, the module can be fully charged in just six minutes, making it ideal for fast-turnaround electric construction equipment, industrial machinery, and port operations where vehicles cycle frequently throughout a shift.

Toshiba's SCiB™ LTO chemistry is renowned for its exceptional cycle life (exceeding 20,000 charge cycles), thermal stability, and fast-charge capability without lithium plating — a common failure mode in high-rate charging of conventional lithium-ion cells. Dimaag's Zenius module pairs this cell technology with purpose-built battery management electronics optimized for the high-power demands of off-road electrification.

"LTO is the right chemistry for high-duty-cycle industrial applications," said Ian Wright, VP of Engineering at Dimaag-AI. "Zenius unlocks the full potential of the SCiB™ platform in a module optimized for the real-world demands of construction and mining equipment."

The Zenius module is a core component of Dimaag's ENCORE (Electric No Compromise Off-Road Ecosystem) platform, which provides battery modules, inverters, motors, and charging systems as an integrated solution for OEM electrification programs.
